Monster Jam Online MTM2 Freestyle League

Monster Jam League ALL STAR EVENT II - January 17th, 2003

Once again, at the end of season five, an event like no other in MTM2 online competition will return...

Prior to season four in MJO, there were two divisions, online and offline. Each of their champions met in a fun Race of Champions after each season. Of course, when season four came along with only an online division, it did away with any potential Race of Champions. That's when the All Star Event was conceived.

In the event, the top eight points finishers from the season are split into two teams and compete individually and with their team in several contests, including freestyle (of course), wheelie, donut, and best move.

The All Star Event II track is currently under construction.

Here is the official lineup for the MJO All Star Event II.

RULES:
The All Star Event is unlike any other event on the MJO schedule, so it also has a special set of rules and schedule for the night.
First off, there will be more than just freestyle. The first event of the night is a wheelie contest. In this, each truck gets 2 attempts at a wheelie, and the best score counts (more on scoring below).
The second event is individual freestyle. This is basically like FS during the MJO season, except for the inception of a grace period in the first 30 seconds of the run, so if you flip in the first 30, you can restart the run completely. Scoring for freestyle is posted below.
The other event for the night is team freestyle. Team freestyle is simply the addition of individual freestyle scores for members of the team. There are also "bonus points" listed below.

SCORING
The scoring format is also different than any other MJO event. Five members from both teams will score the wheelies and freestyle runs, with the high and low scores dropped. This helps to ensure that the scores are as fair as possible. Each person at the event will judge 5 runs. Here is the format:

DRIVER JUDGE 1 JUDGE 2 JUDGE 3 JUDGE 4 JUDGE 5
Red #1 Red #5 Red #7 Blue #4 Blue #6 Blue #8
Blue #2 Red #3 Red #5 Red #7 Blue #6 Blue #8
Red #3 Red #1 Red #7 Blue #2 Blue #6 Blue #8
Blue #4 Red #1 Red #5 Red #7 Blue #2 Blue #8
Red #5 Red #1 Red #3 Blue #2 Blue #4 Blue #8
Blue #6 Red #1 Red #3 Red #7 Blue #2 Blue #4
Red #7 Red #3 Red #5 Blue #2 Blue #4 Blue #6
Blue #8 Red #1 Red #3 Red #5 Blue #4 Blue #6

BONUS POINTS
As an added incentive for team scores (not individual), special bonus points will be added for certain acheievements, listed below.

ACHIEVEMENT BONUS POINTS
Driver goes entire 2 minutes without flipping 1 per driver
No team member uses the grace period 3
Saving a flip 3 per driver
Perfect "30" score 4 per driver

OTHER
Remember, the purpose of this All Star Event is to have fun! Please, no complaining - it ruins the fun for everyone. At all times, officials will be monitoring the runs, so if you have any questions, just ask.
Scores will be kept for everything, including bonus points, so if you have a dispute, contact MJO president Corey Davis, and an agreement will be reached as diplomatically as possible.
Have a great time at the event, and if you didn't make the event this year, maybe next year will be your turn to MONSTER JAM WITH THE ALL STARS!
